HOW TO USE YOUR WATCH:
If your watch has a plastic piece under the crown, gently remove it; press the crown down to normal position. Refer to the diagram below. Gently pull the crown out to the first click position. The second hand will stop when the crown is in the first click position. When in the first click position, turning the crown will change the minute and hours hands. Set the correct time, then gently push the crown back to normal position, and the second hand will begin moving again indicating normal operation.
THE CARE OF YOUR WATCH:
We want you to love your MERIDIEM items .Avoid exposing your watch to violent shocks, extreme temperatures or water (unless specified as water resistant). Do not expose our watch to any chemicals.
LIMITED 18 MONTHS WARRANTY:
Watches are designed to withstand impact under normal use, it must not be subjected to severe impacts or dropped onto hard surfaces.
Your watch is warranted by MERIDIEM for a period of 18 months from date of purchase/ received under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The hands, dial, and watch movement are the only components covered under the MERIDIEM warranty. If the watch proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
The warranty excludes the following: necessary cleaning of the movement, case, crown, finish on case, batteries, crystal, buckle, bracelet and strap. This warranty also does not cover any failure of your watch due to misuse, such as immersion in water, rust (water resistant watches excluded),damage from overheating, scratches, discoloration either for reasons beyond our control such as accident, neglect, failed repair attempts or replacement of part such as case, strap, bracelet, or which time a moderate charge will be made (above the handling charge). This warranty is void if the watch has been tampered with or if the defect is related to servicing not performed by us.
Note that repair/replacements will be charged in the following cases, even during the warranty term.
- Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.)
- Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification
- Failure or damage caused by fire or water or rust, or a natural disaster such as for example an earthquake
- Esthetic changes that occur during normal wear and tear and aging (minor scratches, etc.; on the case and/or crystal, alteration of the color on the wristband and the peeling of the plating)
- In case the retail store and the purchase date are not indicated on the warranty, or if this information has been rewritten
- If the warranty is not submitted along with the watch.
- Battery replacement will be charged US$12 even during the warranty term. ( you may need to Paypal us US$18 for response the return shipping)
- Please allow up to 4 to 6 weeks from the date we receive your package for your watch to go through the repair process.
WATCH REPAIR APPLY:
To have repair covered under 18 months warranty performed, please use our contact form on the "ABOUT" page - contact us. In the e-mail you need to specify your name, address, order number and a detailed description of the issue. ( Service Request Form) .Then write ‘reclaim of purchase’ as subject of the e-mail.

Return parcels must be sent to Hong Kong. The costs associated with the return are the responsibility of the customer. You can ship with the carrier of your choice. For your safety, make sure to get a tracking number so that you are protected in the event of theft or loss during delivery to us.
***For prompt service, please wrap it carefully in tissue paper or any soft material and pack it in a mailing carton. It is advisable to send your watch as insured mail.

OUR DELIVERY FOR RETURN / REPAIRED WATCH:
***We ship the majority of our orders from fulfilment warehouse in Hong Kong. Delivery usually takes 10-15 business days, although it's often shorter.
Never included any special watchband or anything of personal value in your shipment as it may not be returned to you. The Service is not responsible for replacing product lost in-transit.
***You must pay the cost of returning the goods (including taxes and customs duty).
***If the article is received by us in a damaged condition (product defect caused by the customer), it will not be exchanged, but will be returned to the customer at the latter’s expense. If the article is in its normal condition, we will cover the cost of sending the new product (excluding customs duties + taxes).
***Once we have examined the details given on your defective product return form, we reserve the option of refusing your request for legitimate reasons (guarantee period has ended, defect not covered by the guarantee, inappropriate use of the product, etc.).
***Under the guarantee, we offer to repair or replace the defective article. If the article cannot be replaced or repaired, and/or if the same article is no longer available after your warranty period, we will not offer any refund or exchange for you. MERIDIEM’ after-sales service department will organised the return of the article under guarantee; however, any article returned that is not covered by the guarantee (after the after-sales service department has agreed to accept its return) will incur extra costs which will be charged to the consumer (including taxes and customs duties).
***If you have purchased MERIDIEM product(s) during the pre-order / Crowd funding / Sale items , we regret to inform you that there is "NO" refunds on your order.
***The consumer is free to choose how the product is sent and whether or not to take out insurance to cover the loss, theft or destruction of his parcel. MERIDIEM will not cover any of these costs or the cost of transport and may not be held liable for the non-receipt of the parcel. We recommend that customers send their parcel via a tracking service. In general terms, customers must cover all the costs and risks linked to the return of the product. MERIDIEM will only accept products that are returned complete, in perfect condition, in their original packaging and with a return number. Otherwise, the return will be considered to be non-compliant and we will not offer an exchange.
***The return conditions are flexible in order to offer you an incomparable shopping experience. However, the number of returns a customer makes is counted and we reserve the right to refuse an order if goods are repeatedly returned.
***If your watch is beyond repair it will be returned to you in the condition received.
